The First day of School

It's hard to believe the school year is already in full swing. Where did the summer go?!?!?Wesley the high school senior! Am I really that old??

Connor the 9th grader! It's great to be on top!!

Braden the 7th grader!! Yikes, two in junior high!

The beautiful 2nd grader! Hair and outfit all her choice. She is becoming so opinionated!!

My adorable preschooler. In an effort to avoid day care, he is going to one preschool 5 days a week in the morning and another preschool 3 days a week in the afternoon. It's a schedule only the toughest could survive. He's doing great and is Mommy's trooper!!
Here's hoping all my kids have a happy, fun and successful school year!!!

Parker in A Parade!!

Parker's new preschool invited him to be in our city parade.
He was so excited to get to ride on the preschool train!

I wasn't sure what he would think about going by himself with a bunch of strangers, but he did great.

I drove down and parked the car at the end of the parade and then walked the route to find him. When I saw the train coming toward me, the driver was winding back and forth across the road and making circles. Immediately, I worried that he would be sick from all the motion. I was relieved to find him still smiling.

He had such a great time and will always talk about riding the train in the parade!!

Connor's new Lacrosse Team

This summer Connor joined a Club team for Lacrosse. He really loves the game. There first tournament was lots of fun, even though it poured down rain for some of the time. The best thing about this sport is the awesome uniforms the teams have. I'd have to say that Connor's team had one of the best designs. Connor loves having Kassin on the team with him.

They had fun and did pretty good for their first real effort as a team. Unfortunately, once the football games started, Connor wasn't able to continue playing both sports so Lacrosse had to be put on hold. He is looking forward to getting to play again in the Spring. Keep an eye out, if you're lucky, you may catch him wearing his awesome shorts around town!!!!

The Dinosaur Museum

So to make the day that Jayden left a little easier, Danielle and Lauren took Halle and Parker to $2 Tuesday at Thanksgiving Point. They had so much fun...

The kids had so much fun. The only thing better than having these two girls babysit for the summer would be if I could just stay home and watch the kids myself. They did such a great job keeping the kids entertained every day. The kids were so happy and would count the minutes until Lauren or Danielle would arrive! Thank you so much for all your help. I know it wasn't easy. You two are AwEsOmE!!!!

Saying Goodbye to Jayden

So after being away from his Mom for over 6 weeks, it was finally time for Jayden to see his Mom again. The anticipation was building! Jayden was so excited to know his Mom was just minutes away! The precious reunion.Cute cousins wearing matching jammies made by Grandma!
Sherri and the girls had to come and say goodbye.

One last hug to Aunt Julie.
Thanks to Mommy and Nonna for coming all the way to Utah to pick Jayden up! He sure missed you guys!! We miss you Jayden and hope you'll come back to visit soon!! LOVE YOU!!!
