Happy Birthday Parker!

It's hard to believe that my sweet baby boy is officially three years old! Where did the time go? I am so grateful to have him in my life. He is a wonderful child who is always making me smile. I have loved having him all to myself on school day mornings. He is always wanting me to play games, read books, help him set up his trains, and just hold him. He is my constant companion, and most days, I wouldn't have it any other way! He wants to be just like the big boys and sometimes that makes me sad because he is growing up so fast. He is very opinionated and has started showing us his temper a lot more lately. That being said, he is usually very happy and we all love having him around. I can't imagine life without him. He truly has made our family complete!!

Happy Birthday Parker!! We Love you very much!!

Who Dun It?

A couple of weeks ago Shauna and Paul hosted a murder at their house. As reserved as I am I was a little leary, but ended up having a great time. We were all given parts, so we had to dress up like the character we were assigned. The murder took place in the 70's which added a little twist to the costumes as you can see...

Shauna and Paul
Dave and Laurel

Sandy and Nate

Rod and Julie

The lovely Cher, was one of the hosts. Check out the length of that hair!

The interesting Fletch. His shorts just seemed to keep getting shorter and shorter!

Diana Rush. A very famous singer who loved herself a lot!

John Revolting. A dancer who was very sure of himself and his "moves"!

Lizza M. A very important singer/actress.
Andy Warthog, whose accent was almost too convincing! Dave should consider acting!
Bruce Leap, a martial arts movie star. Maybe not a convincing accent, but one that kept me laughing the whole night!

Gloria Stunnem, a feminist with an interesting past! What do you think of the hair?

Who dun it? We'll never tell. We had a great time. The food was great and it was fun to let our "hair" down and be silly for a while!
THANKS PAUL AND SHAUNA FOR A FUN EVENING!!

H*A*double-L*O*W*double-E*N spells Halloween!

I love Halloween. It's fun for the kids to get dressed up and pretend to be someone else for the day. It's fun to have parties, lots of parties! It's fun to take a break from the norm. Best of all, it's fun to get candy, lots of candy, and eat it til you don't want anymore!
This year with planning two elementary class parties, Halloween was a little crazy! It's a lot of work for me, but the kids seemed to have so much fun that it is worth every minute!

Dressing up for Dance...

Carving pumpkins...

Dressing up for Junior High...

(I'm so glad that the schools allow the kids to dress up. I am even more pleased that Connor wanted to participate. Unfortunately, Wesley is a little too much like his Mom and Dad to get in on the fun.)

Class parties and parades...

(Parker did extremely well, considering we were at the elementary school for most of the day!)

(Frosting cookies. Can you say "Sugar High"?)

Time for Trick or Treating...

(It was sad this year as everyone went their separate ways. Connor went with friends)

(Lauren partied with her friends.)

(Once Brynnley and Brooklyn came by, Halle just couldn't wait anymore and had to go with them.)

(Parker went with his Dad.)

(Braden ran off with his friends.)

(Danielle and Erin were fish tanks.)

(Lexi and Brecken came by for some trick or treating fun.)

Although times have changed and everyone is growing up and going their separate ways, we still had a great Halloween!!!!
