HoMeCoMiNG

Last week Wesley and 6 of his friends took their gorgeous dates to Homecoming. After a morning of making milkshakes and playing Quiditch, they got cleaned up and had a great evening eating out, dancing and coming back to our house for dessert. We are lucky that Wes has such a good group of friends!Jeff, Lauren, Taylor and Wesley. It was fun for Lauren and Wesley to hang out together for the evening. Wesley and Taylor made a great-looking couple. He loved going with her!!

Wesley's friend Jeff asked Lauren to the dance and we were glad he did. They looked great together, Jeff is such a gentleman!!!

TOUCHDOWN!!!

At Saturday's football game, I got the feeling I should record a few plays. I didn't immediately pull out the camera, and missed two plays where they gave the ball to Connor. Now, this was the first game he played fullback this season. He has been playing on Defense as the safety, so he has not handled the ball at all. To our pleasant suprise, he ran right down the middle and made two first downs. I quickly pulled out the camera, but wasn't expecting much. I thought I had missed my chance. I never expected them to run the same play again. They did!! I tried to get my camera up and running, but I only caught the very end. Sorry about the end of the video, I was too busy cheering to point straight and have no idea how to edit it!!

I know, it's pathetically short, but I guess it is better then nothing! Way to go Connor!! It has been so fun watching you play this year!

Rob and Cindi's Visit

Cindi and Rob finally came to visit us!! Although the trip was short it was definitely sweet to have them here since we haven't seen them since their wedding, which was almost a whole year ago!!! They were nice enough to get up early and watch Connor's football game.
They picked the perfect day to come to a game since Connor scored a touchdown!! WOO HOO!

While the boys were at Priesthood, we took the kids to the park. I wanted to help Parker learn to ride a two wheeler, but he would have none of that!!!
Crysta and Olivia came along too! She is getting so big and walking so well!!
Jeremy and Meg stopped by for a minute.
Crysta barely looks pregnant!! Three months to go!!
Sherri was not happy to have her picture taken because she hadn't gotten ready for the day, but who can resist the opportunity to take a picture with your sisters!
What cute kids!!!
The boys had a great time going to Priesthood and dinner after. It is so hard to believe that my boys are growing up so fast!!! Thanks Rob and Cindi for coming to see us! WE LOVE YOU!!!

Some fun up the Canyon

A couple Sunday's ago, we drove up to the Canyon to get a break. We had fun just being together as a family. Rod and Parker found this great spot in the river that we could cross over. Perfect picture moment even if the picture didn't turn out too well. Parker had been so excited to show his brothers the spot, but quickly fell in the water and he was pretty upset. It was one of those 'click the picture and get it over with moments'!
Playing a little soccer.
Woo hoo!
Cute!
Played a little football! How is this throw going to turn out?!?!
And a little frisbee!

Just us girls!!
We even climbed a few trees! This was just after the "river fall incident" so Parker was trying to smile!! We are soo lucky to live in such a beautiful place!

Wes and Taylor make a cake

Wesley decided that he wanted to make a cake one Friday night, so he recruited Taylor to be his assistant and this is what they came up with. It is a four layer chocolate cake.

Definitely a masterpiece and quite delicious too!!!
