Swimming Lessons 2010

I signed the kids up for swimming lessons this year and then found out Jayden would be here, so luckily we got him in a class at the same time. He wasn't sure what to think of it all, but by the end of the two weeks he was participating. I think he enjoyed it all, but didn't want to admit it. Halle and Parker had no problems at all. They just jumped right in everyday and had a great time! Off to another day at swimming lessons!!
Okay, so some days this is as far as Jayden would get. Of Course he did look cool in Wesley's shades!

So today was a better day. I don't know why, but the days I left work to take them to swimming, Jayden always got in and participated. Although it was always reluctantly.

Ring around the Rosies anyone?

Parker is a little fish and loved every minute of it!

Fishy in the basket is a game that the person in middle would have to get out of the basket by going under the other players arms. Jayden played, but there was no way he was going to put his face in the Water!!!

Parker had no fear!!

Halle loves to swim!

Who knows! Maybe we have another Swim teamer in our future!!

Parker loved going in a train around the lazy river.

Jayden loved it too. I was suprised because this activity was a little more chaotic to me, but this is one he really like to do.

I was suprised that Jayden went out that far!

Parker is doing so well he doesn't even want a float in the lazy river anymore. Who knows maybe they'll all join swim team.

Thankfully Jayden warmed up to the idea of swimming lessons. He did a great job and I was very proud of him.

The kids had a great time. Thanks to everyone who helped to get them to swimming lessons this year. I am grateful that even though I can't be home all day like last year, they still get to have these opportunities!!

Wesley turned 17!

It's hard to believe that another year has gone by!! Who would have thought that I could be a mother to a 17 year old?!!? Time certainly does fly by. Even though I am a little behind in my posts, Here is wishing Wesley another great year!!

I hope all your wishes come true!!

Wes is such a great kid and I am truly blessed to have him in my life!!

Hanging out at Grandma and Grandpa's House

So about a month ago we headed up to Grandma and Grandpa's house for a visit. While we were there, Heidi and Keaton, and Jayden and Jackie came for a visit too. We were so excited to get to see them. Jackie was even nice enough to let us keep Jayden for a looong visit!! Here are a few pictures of some of the things we did while we were there!! We Love to color!!
Scootering and Biking were another big hit! It sure is great to have some flat roads to ride on!!

Parker loved the bike G&G bought for Jayden last summer.
G&G's old-time park was tons of fun. The kids loved the merry-go round.

This slide was a little scary, but they eventually grew to love it!

Wheee!
Time for a Train!!Tons of fun!!

Thanks Grandpa for the push!!

Finally, Jayden arrived!!

The terrible twos took on a whole new meaning!! Together these two can get into tons of trouble!

A trip to Big Jud's! Can you eat all that by yourselves???

Memorial Day Hike!

So on Memorial Day we went on a hike up Dry Canyon. It was great to get out and explore a little bit of this beautiful area we live in. Parker was a trooper and didn't even complain. He wanted to carry his own backpack!!
We went with the WHOLE Jensen family. It was so much fun. The kids enjoyed having a friend along to share the experience with.

Thank goodness the boys brought enough water!!

Taking a break!

Thinking about something!?!?

Our first break had a wonderful view.

There was no stopping these boys.

These boys may not have been unstoppable, but they were good sports.

Always willing to pose for a picture.

It was fun to stop and eat our dinner. Who needs a barbeque when you can just take a sandwich and go for a hike!?!?
Connor is constantly exploring.

Wesley is definitely growing up. He was a little more low key than the rest of the kids. He is still our worry wart! Here I am... I did come along. It was a great day and tons of fun. Thanks Jensens for keeping us company. We love hanging out with you guys!!!
